The Manitou Springs Heritage Center

The Manitou Springs Heritage Center is now open for business Wed. through Sunday, 11 am. to 4 pm.  Our first exhibit, "Odds, Ends, and Oddities" is currently on display, with new images being added on a regular basis. We are also expanding our resource center and are open for donations or inquiries. Our two year goal is to buy the building at 517 Manitou Ave, which currently houses our museum and collection, so any donation towards our purchase fund is desperately needed and greatly appreciated.

2010 Historic Speaker Series

The Mineral Springs Foundation is again partnering with the Manitou Springs Heritage Center and the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce for the 2010 Historic Speakers Series. This long-running tradition focuses on the history of Manitou Springs and its relationship with its neighbors throughout the decades. This year, the talks will be held at the Heritage Center at 517 Manitou Ave. at 3 pm. on the second and fourth Sundays of January, February, and March.  Refreshments and free knowledge are featured.  For further information, call 685-1454 or 685-0589.
