*Volunteer * The Manitou Springs Heritage Center highly respects and values our volunteers for the time, talent and spirit they contribute to the Museum, and recognize the crucial role they play in connecting us to our community. We commit to provide meaningful opportunities for service, and render support to our volunteers as they assist us in fulfilling our mission. Most volunteers perform year-round work but are also needed for special projects including one-day opportunities.

Goals: * To support us in our mission by providing enthusiastic and committed service where needed * To enrich and expand the services of the Museum through the use of trained volunteers; * To provide greater opportunities for public participation in the Museum; and * To create an environment where volunteers can acquire new skills and further education. There are numerous ways in which you may volunteer at the Museum. *Leadership* The Museum may have opportunities for board or committee participation. Boards and committees provide overall leadership for the institution, and these offer opportunities utilize specialized skills in governance issues, fundraising, membership, marketing and similar areas. *Docents *Docents are a group of individuals who are committed to educating the public about the rich and distinctive history of Manitou Springs and the Pikes Peak region. *Research & Collections * Are you interested in working in the Museum collections and archives?
